Sabbaths and Jubilee YearsBelow is an excerpt from the unedited version of the book 2028 (God’s Plan for Mankind) that discusses the years of Sabbaths and Jubilees and their impact on God’s plan. The whole chapter is provided in it’s entirety for your study. Along with the Sabbath/Jubilee Year Chart you will be able to see that God uses this numerical system to determine important events on His calendar. Now some of things discussed in this chapter require knowledge from previous chapters of the book to understand completely. Nevertheless, a person should be able to grasp the Sabbath/Jubilee concept as it pertains to Christ’s return.

Chapter 26
The Year Of Jubilee
We have explored the timing associated with Christ’s coming at the end of the third trimester, the closing of this Age. The dawn of a new Age, one thousand fourteen years and two months of Christ’s rule on earth is at our doorstep. This momentous occasion will occur on a Jubilee year as I have come to recognize from God’s revealings to me. What a wonderful plan. Not only that, but it will be on the fiftieth Jubilee year counting from the decree given to Ezra from Artaxerxes. Let’s explore the proof of these words so you to can see the reality of it. Just another awesome display confirming the Lord’s plan and Jesus’ return in 2028 A.D.
The Jews believe the Messiah will come on a Jubilee year. However, since they did not keep God’s commandments on this requirement and were punished for this, over the centuries the exact dates that Jubilee years fall on have been lost. Furthermore, the Jews cannot agree if the Jubilee year is every fifty years or every forty-nine years. When you research this subject you find all kinds of answers. Isaac Newton records that the year 34 A.D. was a Jewish Sabbatical year… the year he indicates was the crucifixion. Still others record different years for these years of rest.
According to William Whiston's footnotes in his 1737 A.D. English translation of Josephus’ writings, 24 B.C. was a Sabbath year and 23 B.C. was a year of Jubilee. These were also years of great famine in Judea and Syria. We know how scholar’s interpretations of Josephus’ accounts are less than perfect, or Josephus himself is in error, so we need to be cautious. If his report was accurate and the Jews are correct in their belief, then the next Jubilee year from that date would have been 28 A.D. Projecting this idea forward using the 50-year approach results in the years 1978, 2028, and 2078 A.D. as Jubilee years, one of which equates to one of the two years we have been investigating. In Appendix D. the Sabbath years and the years of Jubilee are shown from the creation of Adam to the end of the Millennium Kingdom using Whiston’s account as the starting point and projecting the fifty-year pattern forward and backward in time. However, let’s look at this subject more precisely to make sure.
The Bible relates this information about the year of Jubilee.
“Count off seven sabbaths of years—seven
times seven years—so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to a period of
forty-nine years [seven ‘sevens’]. Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on
the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet
throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty
throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each
one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan. The
fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows
of itself or harvest the untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy
for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.”
Leviticus
25:8-12
The Bible further states the Jewish year
begins in the first month of Nisan, since the time of Exodus, although modern
Jews actually begin the civil New Year six months later in the seventh month
(Tishrei). So using this understanding,
the forty-ninth year (seventh Sabbath) would have started in the month of Nisan
and ended just before the month of Nisan the following year. There would have
been no planting in that year if they followed God’s laws. God also says not to
sow or reap in the year of Jubilee as well, the fiftieth year, so why does He
say to wait until the tenth day of the seventh month before the year is
proclaimed when the Jews clearly should already be “observing” the Jubilee by
not planting crops? We will examine this issue shortly. So a year of Jubilee
begins on the first of Nisan, is proclaimed midway through the year on the Day
of Atonement, and ends at the start of a new year in the month of Nisan.
Assuming Josephus was correct on this
point, the year of Jubilee he reported would probably have been Nisan 1, 3738
A.M. to Adar 29, 3739 A.M. This corresponds to March 28, 23 B.C to March 16,
22 B.C. Projecting these dates 50 years ahead across the B.C. to A.D.
threshold gives us March 14, 28 A.D. (Nisan 1, 3788 A.M.) to March 31, 29 A.D.
(Adar II 29, 3789 A.M.) as the first year of Jubilee in the year of our Lord
(anno domini – A.D.). This period of time partially overlaps the 15th year of
the reign of Tiberius Caesar, which ended in August of 29 A.D. If you aspire to
do your counting from the first of Tishrei (using that as the beginning of the
New Year), then the Jubilee Year would have been September 21, 23 B.C. to
September 10, 22 B.C. instead, effectively moving the dates six months into the
future. The next Jubilee (28/29 A.D.) using this accounting method would have
lined up very close to the 15th year of Tiberius… being off by only three to
four weeks longer. Since this starting point allows Christ’s ministry to begin
at the end of a year of Jubilee in the fall of 29 A.D., it seems plausible that
God is using the first of Tishrei as His starting point as well. Besides there
is strong evidence that this date has always been used by the Israelites from
the beginning of history and God instructed them to move it, through the
prophet Moses, from the first of Tishrei to the first of Nisan when they
entered Canaan. Why? Because God began creation in the month of Tishrei and
made man in the month of Nisan.
So we see from using more accurate
calendar math that the next year of Jubilee from Josephus’ writings was between
28 and 29 A.D. not just 28 A.D. as we originally calculated. If we project this
Jubilee year 2,000 years into the future… forty (generations) fifty year
periods (Jubilees), we get the first of Tishrei in the year 5789 A.M. This
translates into September 21, 2028 A.D. on the Gregorian calendar and the end
of that Jewish year using the same calendar is September 9, 2029 A.D. The tenth
of Tishrei of this Jubilee year, the Day of Atonement, is September 30, 2028
A.D. as you already know.
We notice from using Josephus’ account
that one of the possible dates we calculated using Daniel’s prophecy for
Christ’s return in Chapter 14 falls within this time frame… December 25, 2028
A.D. Only one of those possible return dates falls within this year. So with
Josephus’ account and the Jewish belief that the Messiah will return on a year
of Jubilee, it is highly probable they are both correct and the year 2028 A.D.
is the most logical year of His return. To further support that Josephus was
correct on this point, we’ll project the Jubilee year 23 B.C. backwards in time
to the beginning. The beginning of the observance of Sabbath years and Jubilee
years began when the Jews entered the promise land after Moses death.
“The LORD said to Moses on Mount Sinai, “Speak to the Israelites and say
to them: When you enter the land I am going to give you [Canaan], the land
itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD.”
Leviticus
25:1-2
Also,
“On
the evening of the fourteenth day [really the fifteenth day because the new day
begins at sundown] of the month [Nisan], while camped at Gilgal on the plains
of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover. The day after the Passover
[feast], that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened
bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped the day after [the sixteenth day] they ate this food from
the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they
ate of the produce of Canaan.”
Joshua
5:10-12
Just a side note, the sixteenth day of
Nisan is the day when the bread of life (manna) from God stopped in the year
1415 B.C. and 1,447 years later (33 A.D.) to the day (sixteenth of Nisan) the
new bread of life, Jesus was resurrected. During this period, there were 29
Jubilee years and 202 Sabbaths… 231 sacred observances (7 times 33 – seven
years of rest for every year of Christ’s life) in total. Let’s continue.
We see from these two verses that when the
Jews entered Canaan it was the first Sabbath of the land and every seven years
afterwards for all generations to come. The Jews ate from the land because it
was the first year in Canaan, they had captured none of the territory, and so
they could not have planted crops yet. It was also at the beginning of the year
(forty years after the exodus from Egypt), planting season, and by the time
they captured enough land they would miss this planting season. The Israelites
would have to wait until the next year before they could begin planting.
Besides, they had not planted a crop in over forty years since God had provided
them with manna the entire time they were in the desert and this generation
would have to gather seeds and learn from their conquered enemies farming
methods.
This eating from the land versus planting
is what God instructed them to do on a Sabbath year supporting the idea that it
was the first Sabbath. From our timeline in the “Times of the Jews” (Appendix A.), we see that the Jews
entered Canaan in the year 1415 B.C. Counting to the seventh Sabbath from that
year (the first Sabbath), we get the year 1374 B.C. to 1373 B.C. and
the first Jubilee year followed (March 13, 1373 B.C. to April 1, 1372 B.C.)…
exactly 1,400 years later was the Jubilee in the year 28/29 A.D. This would
have been the 29th from the beginning of the Jews entering Canaan.
The 29th Jubilee would fall on 29 A.D. and is another one of those oddities
that I have no explanation for.
Now the first year in Canaan would have
started in April 1415 B.C. and finished in March 1414 B.C. This is interesting
because some Jews profess that the year of Jubilee is on the 15th and 65th
year of every century using our current calendar. This belief may ultimately be
traced back to the year of 1415 B.C. because using this date could lead you to
this practice, but since the Jews use a different calendar system it is
impossible to know with certainty. This date of 1415 B.C. is a projection back
in time using the Julian calendar system, which they did not use, and should
have changed to the 36th and 86th year of every century after crossing the B.C.
to A.D. threshold if you used that system. Besides this year was a Sabbath year
and not a Jubilee year. It really is not totally clear why they believe this,
but using Josephus’ writings and the Bible, which are in agreement, proves this
idea and practice in modern times is false.
Further proof of this understanding is
given to the prophet Jeremiah. Nebuchadnezzar began his conquest of Jerusalem
and all it’s surrounding towns in the year 588 B.C. ,
“The word came to
Jeremiah from the LORD after King Zedekiah had made
a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim freedom for the slaves.
Everyone was to free their Hebrew slaves, both male and female; no one was to
hold another Jew in bondage. So all the officials and people who entered into
this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no
longer hold them in bondage. They agreed, and set them free. But afterward they changed their
minds and took back the slaves they had freed and enslaved them again.
Then the word of the LORD came
to Jeremiah: “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your
forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I
said, ‘every seventh year [Sabbath] each of you must free any other Hebrew who
has sold himself to you. After he has served you six years, you must let them
go free.’ Your fathers, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me.
Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed
freedom to his countrymen. You even made a covenant before me in the house that
bears my Name. But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you
has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they
wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again.
“Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed
freedom to your fellow countrymen. So I now proclaim ‘freedom’ for you,
declares the Lord—‘freedom’ to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will
make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.”
Jeremiah
34:8-17
Clearly God is telling Jeremiah the
Israelites were not following the Sabbath law in the year 588 to 587 B.C. which
by the accounting method put forth from Josephus coincided exactly as the fifth
Sabbath year from the Jubilee year of 623 to 622 B.C. Furthermore, the
punishment for not following the Sabbath years would be one year for every
Sabbath the Jews were guilty of not obeying this commandment, which was seventy
of them. It is unclear if Jubilee years were counted as missed Sabbaths,
because if the Israelites were not following the Sabbath requirements, surely
they were not following the Jubilee requirements, which were even stricter. If
God was counting the Jubilee years, which he only mentions Sabbaths, then the
total time period the Jews were not following His obligations was 500 years (7
x 70 + 10 Jubilees). If he is not counting the Jubilees along with the
Sabbaths, then the time is only 490 (7 x 70 missed Sabbaths) years. Four
hundred and ninety is an interesting number because we’ve seen it used before
by God in Daniel’s Seventy ‘Sevens’ prophecy, but I knew not how they might be
related until the early morning of August 29, 2007, the day after a full lunar
eclipse.
It was around 3am and I was lying down to
go to sleep after working on this book and trying to write everything that was
revealed to me the morning before. I was thinking about what else I could write
about because I wanted this book to be 229 pages long. That length was
predetermined on the very first day I started writing the book and it was
eleven pages short of my goal. But God has shown me so much more that now it is
well past that objective. He clearly had a different number in mind than I did.
I started reviewing some notes and after
just five to ten minutes a thought popped into my head that didn’t seem to
coincide with what I was even looking at. It did however relate to years of
Jubilee and Sabbaths, which I had been writing about the previous day. I didn’t
have my calculator near me, which I usually have, so I had to do some hand
calculations because I was already tucked in and was too lazy to get up and get
it.
After finishing the calculation I realized
I had solved another major piece of God’s plan that I obviously was missing.
This calculation had as much of an affect on me as the one on the flood did
that prompted me to start this book. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I would
be sent another message from God on what to write near the end of the book. The
calculation both excited me and worried me at the same time. It tied everything
together I had been missing and the other pieces I had already uncovered; bound
them more tightly together. This calculation showed that God has been using the
Jubilee and Sabbath years since the creation of Adam to mark His calendar, not
just when He told the Jews to start observing them when they entered Canaan
(after coming out of Egypt). Not only that, but also these observances were far
more interconnected than anyone could even begin to imagine. Daniel’s
prophecies were interrelated beyond belief with this fifty-year cycle.
After shutting the light off for the night
I could hardly sleep. My head was swimming in numbers. I didn’t sleep very long
and got up early the next morning and began working on a spreadsheet for the
years of Jubilees and Sabbaths compiling them all from the creation of Adam to
Christ’s return and beyond as I understood this new revelation and how this
important requirement was to be applied within God’s plan. I had already made a
spreadsheet of this system a few months back trying to understand the different
methods I had uncovered when researching this topic. I had not been able to
determine then what the correct method was and had put it aside. I quickly
realized some errors in the column pertaining to the Josephus account and fixed
it extending the dates further back in time from the 23 B.C. date Whiston had
recorded as a year of Jubilee, which I had not done previously. I had only
carried them forward in time to the year 2029. When I got to the time I had
determined for the creation of Adam, I stopped at the next logical Jubilee
year, which was fourteen years earlier than the 4060 B.C. date I had calculated
for this event using other methods.
This was interesting because I mentioned
God seems to tack on some time after an event is finished and I then realized
he seemed to tack on some time before he starts an event too. For instance, He
notified Noah seven days before the flood to “load up” and we see here there
were fourteen years before Adam. I calculated roughly 18 days from the decree
of Ezra to his leaving for Jerusalem as another example and even telling Moses
three days (probably forty hours exactly just like the resurrection account,
since these three days symbolically parallel that event) ahead of going up
Mount Sinai. I called this year of Jubilee year zero because it was
theoretically before the creation of Adam and then began counting forward in
time the Jubilee and Sabbath years.
I realized something incredible was going
on. I recognized historical dates I had been calculating and began to compare
them… I quickly became anxious at how accurate this spreadsheet was. I had back
calculated the year of the flood as 2403 B.C. when I was writing the sections
of the “Times of Adam” and the “Times of the Jews” to prove all the trimesters
were exactly equal to 2,029 years and two months long. I realized the year 2402
B.C. was a Sabbath year and I noticed the year 4059 B.C., one year later than
the 4060 B.C. date I calculated for Adam’s creation, was a Sabbath year as
well. Both were off by one year exactly in the same direction. Since changing
my calculations by only a few months could shift these both to be dead on I
realized God was using this system from the beginning as part of His plan. But
the Lord doesn’t work on Sabbaths so these dates may be accurate because a
Sabbath year… a rest year is following the creation of Adam and the great
flood. This became even more apparent when I realized the Sabbath year of the
flood was the 3rd Sabbath after the 33rd year of Jubilee from the beginning of
Adam! A most curious use of numbers when you know the symbolism of God’s use of
numbers.
I moved on down the list looking for
important numbers and dates and the next one that caught my eye was the promise
to Abraham. The sixth Sabbath from the fortieth Jubilee year was the date 2031
B.C… the identical year I had calculated for this event using God’s calendar
and scripture. Now as best I can tell no one has recorded this year in history
books correctly. There is much more. My final calculation for the year David
began his reign was 1060 B.C. At one time I had it as 1059 B.C., which agreed
with Newton’s record of this event. Well the end of the second Sabbath from the
60th year of Jubilee was 1059 B.C. when counting from the beginning.
The start of construction of Solomon’s
Temple fell exactly on the date I recorded for this event in 1016 B.C. It was
the 1st Sabbath of the 61st Jubilee midway between Adam and Christ’s return
(the 122nd Jubilee from Adam as projected will be the year 2028/29 A.D.). There
are many more examples just like these that I am aware of, and since I am not
totally knowledgeable on all scripture events and history, I am sure there are
many, many more I am unaware of. You see I have not read the entire Bible, but
some parts like Daniel, I have read countless times. The spreadsheet of Jubilee
years and Sabbaths is shown in Appendix
D and is quite lengthy since it covers seven H-days or 7,102 years! It
shows the counting of the Sabbaths and Jubilees from the beginning (Adam), from
the Exodus when God told the Jews to start observing these years, and also from
Artaxerxes’ decree to Ezra in 458 B.C.
It goes without saying that Christ’s
birth, the starting of his ministry, his second coming, the second Temple’s demise,
the birth of the antichrist, his rise to power, the finishing of construction
on the second Temple and other events are all on Sabbath years or Jubilee
years! Now if you remember I mentioned there were a couple of Daniel’s
prophecies I was not totally sure how they applied. The “Handwriting on the
Wall” vision where the inscription “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN”
was written by a finger, out of thin air, on the plaster of the palace wall was
one of them. Daniel translated that expression as follows; “God has numbered
the days of your reign and brought it to an end. You have been weighed on the
scales and found wanting. Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and
Persians.” We saw on that very day this prophecy fulfilled with the Babylonian
King’s slaying and Darius the Mede taking over the kingdom. But a deeper
translation was also given… and I translate Daniel’s words as follows, God has
numbered the days of Babylon’s existence (reign) on Earth and brought it to an
end. It will be divided permanently between the Medes and the Persians at the
end of the “Times of the Gentiles”; at Jesus’ second coming Babylon will be
destroyed the book of Revelation says. These references to Babylon in
Revelation are usually interpreted as symbolic language, but it appears they
are more than that using Jubilee years as a comparison.
How do I know this? Because one of those
numbers (121.5 in Table 14-2), confirms this! I had originally calculated this
to be 2,430 G-years and mentioned it was off by 20 years from the other
calculations and wasn’t sure why. Well now I know. God showed me this answer
along with the Jubilee and Sabbath years last night. The 121st Jubilee from the
creation of Adam was the year 1978 to 1979 A.D. (1979 A.D. also happens to be
the year of the birth of the antichrist so the lawless one also comes {born} in
a year of Jubilee mimicking Christ and comes early… 1,950 years exactly after
Christ’s first coming and one Jubilee from His second). Another half a Jubilee
(25 years) puts us at the year 2003 to 2004 A.D. A most curious date
considering the current war in Iraq (Babylonia) began in March 2003!
Continuing… we need to shift this date forward by fourteen years since God
started counting prior to Adam’s creation. This gets us to the year 2017 to
2018 A.D.
The next Jubilee, 122nd from Adam, is 2028
to 2029 A.D., which is the calculated year of Christ’s return. This leaves
approximately ten to twelve years unaccounted for. We know from scripture that
the Garden of Eden was located in the area of Iraq. Assuming from God’s
perspective Babylon came into existence around the tenth year of creation we
can start this calculation from that point instead of the very beginning and we
would then be exact. In other words, God is saying, at the end of the third
trimester the people and nation of Iraq (Babylon) will be wiped from the face
of the earth never to be heard from again! God has numbered its “days” from the
beginning and they are 6,075 (121.5 x 50) years. God may also be counting from
the creation of Adam and saying that Iraq will be wiped out around 2018 A.D. in
a “pre” war (Gog & Magog) prior to the War of Armageddon. Then there would
be no unaccounted time to adjust for.
Knowing the things that are going on in
Iraq as of the year 2007 A.D., this would not be out of the question. The
United States is in the early stages of another Vietnam War fiasco… a no-win
situation. The U.S. chooses to fight wars where winning is not the sole
objective and this is what causes these problems. However, pulling troops out
will cause even more problems… an all out Civil War that may escalate into
something larger. Knowing this, this situation will continue indefinitely until
the American people have had enough, which only postpones the Civil War. Last
time it lasted around twenty years and it was the Democrats who kept the war
going after the Republicans started it. If the timing is about the same then we
will get to the last seven G-years of Daniel easily when Babylon (Iraq) will be
destroyed.
I have so far shown you times of things
referenced from the beginning of Adam. Even though God has been using His
system from the beginning, he did not instruct the Israelites to do so until
they entered Canaan after the Exodus. The Exodus starting date was 1415 B.C.
and was the 370th (372 minus the two before Adam, so creation of man could be
started at the beginning of the third Sabbath from where God started counting)
Sabbath year from Adam and Eve. So we need to start a new counting from this
date. In so doing, we find that King David’s reign was now the second Sabbath
from the seventh Jubilee. This was an adjustment of 53 (60-7) Jubilees to our
first spreadsheet timeline (see Appendix
D). The 14th Jubilee using this accounting was the year 723 B.C. to 722
B.C., which some historians record as the beginning of the fall of the Northern
Kingdom of Israel to the Assyrians.
We find the death of the first antichrist on
the 22nd year of Jubilee with the number twenty-two a variation of the number
66. Alexander’s birth was midway in the third Sabbath week of years from the
21st Jubilee as measured from Canaan. A Sabbath week of years is the normal six
years between the last Sabbath year and the next Sabbath year. Just like a
regular week on the calendar. The first year after the last Sabbath would be
equivalent to Sunday, the first day of the week. The second year after the last
Sabbath year would equate to Monday and so forth and so on until we reach the
next Sabbath year. Christ’s birth was exactly on the third Sabbath from the
28th year of Jubilee using this new accounting method or the 3rd Sabbath from
the 9th (3+3+3) year of Jubilee if you start counting from the time of Ezra,
which is the starting point for Daniel’s prophecies.
The 467th (7 x 66.666) Sabbath year from
the Exodus was 1913 to 1914 A.D. Since the Sabbath’s and Jubilee’s were based
on the Jewish calendar, this was from the autumn of 1913 to the autumn of 1914
A.D. In fact, during most of this discussion I have been using a simplified
notation that lists the year the Sabbath and Jubilee year starts in, when in
fact it is spread over a two-year period. This is also the way it is shown on
the spreadsheet in Appendix
D. I will continue to do this for
the most part to make reading easier, but remember this fact as we continue.
The late summer of 1914 A.D. was the beginning of World War I. This time was
also the beginning of the 6th Sabbath ‘week’ of years from the 66th Jubilee
(666)!
I’m sure there are other examples like
this where history matches up with symbolic numbers that God uses, but I do not
plan to go looking throughout history to find them. Those who read this book
and know history will be able to look at Appendix
D. and spot these amazing correlations. But I will just jump to the end of
the “Age of Pisces”; the current Age to make some final observations. These
observations were the ones that were shown to me as I laid down to go to sleep.
The year 2028/2029 A.D., one of the expected years of our savior’s return, will
be the 69th year of Jubilee from our new accounting method
instructed by God to Moses, and the year 2027/2028 A.D. will be the completion
of the 483rd Sabbath year! You should recognize these numbers by now as numbers
from Daniel’s most famous prophecy of the Seventy ‘Sevens’. We calculated that
69 of those ‘sevens’ (483 G-years) as the amount of time from Artaxerxes’
decree to Ezra in 458 B.C. to the death of Christ which correlated exactly. Now
we see that if the 69 ‘sevens’ was 69 ‘weeks of Sabbaths (seven years)’ or 69 x
7 x 7 years, then this would correspond to the year 2027/2028 A.D. with the
latter part of 2028 A.D. being the end of the 483rd Sabbath and the rest of the
year being the beginning of the 69th year of Jubilee when counting from Exodus!
We know Daniel’s prophecy was “dead on”
using the other methods of analysis, but it also has a deeper interpretation
just as his prophecy of the “Handwriting on the Wall” had. This deeper
fulfillment of the Seventy ‘Sevens’ prophecy provides further clarity, but also
some further lack of understanding. Because after the 69 ‘sevens’ Christ would
be cut off, but this deeper understanding is just the opposite, Christ will
return. And if we use the “Sabbath/Jubilee” method to figure the missing
‘seven’ of Daniel’s prophecy, we would still be missing one ‘seven’; or 7 x 7 =
49 years (which we really need to add one Jubilee year to get to the same
“apples to apples” calculations used in the spreadsheet). So if Christ comes in
2028 A.D. and the Millennium Kingdom starts, what happened to the missing fifty
(seven Sabbath years plus one year of Jubilee) years to get to the complete
seventy ‘sevens’? I can only speculate that this missing ‘seven’ (fifty years)
on the deeper level is equivalent to Daniel’s missing “seven’ G-years that will
happen just prior to Christ’s second coming. That is to say, this deeper
missing ‘seven’ interpretation will be at the end of the Millennium Kingdom
just before God remakes heaven and earth. Revelation says,
“When the thousand
years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to
deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them
for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched
across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the
city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil,
who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast
and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night
forever and ever.” Revelation
20:7-10
We see this is a repeat performance for
the antichrist, a third performance, to the coming events in the next 20 years.
We know that the antichrist will be 49 years old at his death from our earlier
work; just shy of fifty, and this missing fifty years matches up with this same
scenario. History repeating itself over and over. This is just speculation, but
it is the best I can come up with.
We also know from the prophecy of the
Seventy ‘Sevens’ that there were two other times mentioned: the complete
seventy ‘sevens’ and seven ‘sevens’. No one has figured out why God broke down
the sixty-nine ‘sevens’ the way he did into seven and sixty-two ‘sevens’. I
have attempted in the past to reason this out. I believe He was signaling a
specific date in history that corresponded to this breakpoint and I calculated
it to be in 408 B.C. This year happened to be the midpoint between the time
Xerxes, king of Persia, first attacked Greece (483 B.C.) and the time that
Alexander, king of Greece, first attacked Persia (334 B.C.). I thought that
must have meant something because many of Daniel’s prophecies started with
conflict between Persia and Greece. I believed this was a starting point for
some further calculation. I moved forward in time using the 2,300 G-years
(prophetic years from Daniel 8) and arrived at the year 1926 A.D. (JNF) and if
the number is really 2,400 G-years (2,435 years), you do get to the year 2028
A.D., but I struggled with using 2,400 when so many translations say 2,300.
Having made many calculations using this prophecy, I have been unable to
determine with one hundred percent confidence why God broke out the seven ‘sevens’
and I am resigned to the fact that I may never know unless I could prove the
real number in Daniel 8 is 2,400.
But I did notice a most interesting thing
using this deeper meaning of Daniel’s Seventy ‘Sevens’ prophecy. Beginning with
the year of Artaxerxes’ decree to Ezra (instead of the closest Jubilee year
shown in Appendix
D.) and counting forward in time as we did from Adam and Exodus, we get a
new accounting for Sabbaths and Jubilees. Using this reference point, because
God said to do so for this prophecy and counting forward in time 69 Sabbaths we
get to the year 27/28 A.D. The year 28/29 A.D. was a Jubilee year and 29/30
A.D. started the next Sabbath year cycle. Three and a half years later in 33
A.D. (half way from completing the seventieth Sabbath counting from Ezra)
Christ was “cut off”! Furthermore, if you count seven ‘sevens’ or seven
Sabbath/Jubilee cycles (350 Sabbaths) from the 458 B.C. date, you arrive at the
year 2027/2028 A.D. as the end of the 350th Sabbath or 2028/2029 A.D. as a year
of Jubilee. Basically seven ‘sevens’ until Christ’s second coming! So the
deeper understanding yields 483 Sabbaths/69 Jubilees from the Jews entering
Canaan, and 350 Sabbaths/50 Jubilees from Artaxerxes’ decree to Jesus’ second
coming.
Now some further thoughts on my
revelation. Using our deeper understanding of this prophecy, God said there
will be seventy ‘sevens’ before we essentially reach utopia. No more sin, to
finish transgressions, to bring in everlasting righteousness, and so forth and
so on. I originally thought this would happen with Christ’s return and it may
for some. But for others it will not. What do I mean? Well, Satan will be
chained (restrained), so he cannot influence man and Jesus will be on earth
running the show. But man will still be sinning from his own sinful flesh…
knowledge gained eating fruit from the Tree of Good and Evil, he just will not
have Satan and Satan’s demons tempting him to act on his weaknesses. He will
have Jesus helping him to not act on them.
Revelation 20:4-5 says those who are
martyred during the tribulation period, will rule with Christ on earth after
his return. They will be like the angels in heaven as it states in Matthew.
While new Christians who survive the “Day of the Lord” just before His second
coming, will continue on with their lives… marrying and carrying on just as
they always have, only with much less sinning. Traveling to Jerusalem every
year to honor the King of the Nations at the Feast of Tabernacles as Zechariah
states. Those people who have died and rose again in glorified bodies have
suffered the first death and the second death has no hold on them. Those who
carry over into the Millennium Kingdom or are born in the Age of Aquarius will
experience death (first death) before the end of that period of time
(1,014.4533 years) is finished. So first we have a period of history under the
“influence of Satan” and next we will have a period of “Time” under the
“rule of Christ”… the last Age.
So the world will not be completely
without sin during this time and Daniel’s Seventy ‘Sevens’ that were prophesied
cannot be truly completed until the end of Christ’s earthly rule, when the
books are opened and God remakes the heavens and the earth. Much like the
caterpillar morphing into the butterfly. A new Age when we will remember the
past Ages no more. This will be the second death when all will arise from the
first death (except those already ruling with Christ during the Millennium
Kingdom), for the final judgment, and those found wanting on God’s scales will
be thrown into the Lake of Fire (the second death).
If you remember, the calculations on the
full seventy ‘sevens’ using seven periods of 490 G-years came up short 20 years
at the end of the Millennium Kingdom, which I could not explain. However our
deeper understanding is dead on! The
seventy ‘sevens’ would translate into seventy Jubilees’ or 70 x 50 years or 3,500
years! A number we have already calculated for another one of Daniel’s
prophecies by combining methods of how God works. This was using God’s method
of “Time, Times and ½ a Time” with a higher understanding of Daniel 7
and multiplying the basic amount of “Time (1)” by 103 using
this higher understanding. That gave a value of 1,000 years for “Time”
and a grand total of 3,500 years. Both prophecies confirming each other. We
already know that if you use 458 B.C. and move 3,500 years into the future you
will get the end year 3043 A.D.! If you ignore previously established years of
Sabbaths and Jubilees and just start counting from the 458 B.C. date, you will
find the year 2028 A.D. was actually in the 49th year of Jubilee (two Sabbaths
short of fifty Jubilees) and the year 3042/3043 A.D. is the seventieth Jubilee
exactly! God is truly amazing. He has a plan and he is working that plan. Let’s
move on to some last thoughts that will further support Christ’s return in 2028
A.D…. as if you should really need any more by now, but I wish to show you how incredibly thorough
God is.
Do you remember at the beginning of this
chapter I mentioned that depending on when the Jewish New Year began, this
choice impacted the years of Jubilee and Sabbaths by about six months? They
either started in the month of Nisan or the month of Tishrei. Well if the Jews
are correct in their belief that Christ will return on a year of Jubilee, and
all indications from God’s plan point toward them being right, then the
decision on when to start impacts the amount of time God will “cut short” the appointed
time. That’s right, if the year of Jubilee starts the first of Tishrei
(September 21, 2028) Jesus cannot come back before then and still come back in
a year of Jubilee. So the appointed time (December 25th) cannot be
reduced to any date before this.
Using the first of Nisan (March 28, 2028)
as the starting date allows God to cut short the appointed time up to
six months more and still meet the Jubilee requirement. The Tishrei starting
date provides less uncertainty with the final timing of this event and supports
the idea I had of a September 30th second coming (the Day of Atonement: the
tenth day of the first Jewish month) while the Nisan starting month provides
more uncertainty and more flexibility in God’s decision on the return date. I
know not the final truth of this, but I do favor a starting date in the month
of Tishrei because of the less uncertainty it provides and its close alignment
with the fifteenth year of Tiberius Caesar as previously noted. This close association
supports the idea that Christ started his ministry in a year of Jubilee (just
before September 27, 29 A.D which was the end of that Jubilee year), which some
believe, when he started gathering disciples and teaching in the autumn of that
year. Using the Nisan start date doesn’t allow Jesus to start his ministry in a
Jewish year of Jubilee because the 29 A.D. Jubilee would have ended in the
spring, but it does fall in the same Julian or Gregorian year.
We have seen many methods that calculate the end time for the third trimester of God’s plan. Just using God’s calendar and symmetry, or using prophecy, using God’s word, and even using my life, all point to Christ’s return in our lifetimes. We know for certain with all of our work, that no one knows the day or the hour, and nothing could be truer than these words. But you should know by now, without a shadow of a doubt, that Jesus is returning to rule the nations in the autumn of the year 2028 A.D. Of that you can be absolutely sure!
